You pay for a ScreenAnswer license. AI uses your free Groq API key. You don’t need paid OpenAI API billing for the default path. Free tiers can rate-limit occasionally.

An in-app mode that listens on your laptop microphone, shows a live transcript bar on top of your screen while you listen, then can turn the transcript into study notes with Groq Whisper Large V3 Turbo (your gsk_ key). Allow microphone access in Windows. Free Groq audio limits apply.

Use tray → Exit, or Task Manager → end ScreenAnswer, then open it again.
